Area Rug Cleaning

ORIENTAL & AREA RUG CLEANING SERVICES

Our unique full-submersion rug washing system is designed to reach the inner-most foundation yarns.

Every rug is carefully pre-inspected for moths, dye damage, repairs, stains, odours or other issues that may need to be addressed while your rug is with us.

Our state-of-the-are rug duster removes even the deepest embedded dirt before we wash your rugs.

Our pet urine & odour protocol ensures complete odour removal. We guarantee it!

Wrap each rug fibre in stain protection when you have us apply a professional-strength fibre protector.

Our treatment for rugs & carpets kills moths (eggs, larva, pupa, adults), bed bugs, fleas, and spiders.

When pet stains or over-the-counter spotters bleed the dyes in your rug, we can often bring it back to an almost-perfect condition.

We can fix missing fringes, holes, broken edges and damaged corners. Just ask for a quote!

A properly fitted rug pad will help extend the life of your rugs and will keep them from slipping.

Our 8-step rug washing process and state-of-the-art machinery will provide the most thorough cleaning for our customers’ area rugs. From dry-soil removal with our rug duster, to removing water out of rugs in our centrifuge, to our temperature controlled dry room - you won't be disappointed with our results! At Peterborough Carpet & Rug Care your satisfaction is GUARANTEED!

Our 8-Step Rug Washing Process:

Rugs are checked in with the office staff and labeled for identification.
A thorough inspection is completed to determine size, material, and any foreign substances (urine, stains, etc).
Dry soil is removed with our automated rug duster.
The washing process is customized for the needs of each individual rug.
Rinsing occurs both on the wash-floor and in the centrifuge which removes about 90% of the water.
Rugs are hung to dry in our temperature & humidity controlled drying room.
Rugs go through their final inspection & grooming; carpet fibre protection is added if desired by the customer.
Once complete, rugs are either stored for customer pick-up, or prepared for delivery.

No appointment needed for rug drop-offs
